HISTORY

El Milagro/The Miracle Lutheran Church was born in 2001 out of a merger of two ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) congregations: St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Todos Los Santos, a Hispanic mission congregation located in South Minneapolis. 

In the years since the merger the congregation has decided to focus their attention to the Latino community in South Minneapolis.

The ministry at El Milagro/The Miracle is gifted in many ways.  We seek to console the broken hearted through prayer, word and sacrament in a supportive Christian community that seeks to disciple new believers.

We look forward to our ministry as we seek to carry out the Great Commission of Christ Jesus as described in Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
