El Milagro: A Grace Place

Welcoming the stranger: at home in God's house

The community of faith known as La Iglesia Luterana El Milagro/The Miracle Lutheran Church, is an amazing space where people from many different lands, heritages and ethnicities find a welcoming place—a grace space, where one can feel at home in God's house!

El Milagro as a Grace Space highlights our community which welcomes and celebrates:
·	strong lay leadership, personal empowerment, and a warm welcome to seekers and strangers;
·	a grace space which understands outreach and openness to those around us as our mission;
·	celebratory, vibrant and creative worship, study and spirituality experiences;
·	a multilingual reality where the majority of folks, whose first language is Spanish, and our many English speakers join in celebrating their diverse languages, cultures, and traditions;
·	a multi-ethnic, multi-racial diversity, with all the richness and plurality that this implies;
·	a place where all children of God are valued and affirmed without reference to their documentation status;
·	a welcoming community with regard to civil status variations and/or sexual minorities—as a large number of our community do not fit the “typical family” prototype!

All children of God should feel welcomed and at home in God's house.

God with us: Emmanuel calls, unites, empowers and inspires us to be a community which celebrates our diversity, one whose rich and vibrant worship tradition brings together music and rhythms that reflect and respect the many cultural blessings of this grace place.
